Ahh yes, 2008... the year Suzuki beat everyone to the fuel injected 450 game.
 
It's the bike that started it all for EFI on modern day four strokes!
 
This 08 RMZ450 is actually my personal machine - and I've never ridden it! Not once! 
 
Allow me to clarify a bit...
 
I found this machine on FB Marketplace, and quickly picked it up to refresh for an idea I had. I wanted to get it "ride ready" and pit it against my 2023 RMZ450, to create a YouTube video / video series.
 
It would have been "08 RMZ450 VS 18 RMZ450 - how much has it really changed?" (18's are the same as 23's)
 
Ultimately, I sold my 2023 RMZ450 and the idea never came to life. A shame too, as the bikes are both fuel injected, use similar engines, etc.
 
Deep down I think the 08  would have actually been BETTER in a lot of ways. Maybe we'll still find out, someday...

But I'm not done.....
 
Now that she's a giveaway build - I'm going to clean up the last few little controls & fully rebuild the engine!
